1This Order may be cited as the Defence Materiel and Equipment Loaned to Contractors Order.

Authorization

2The Minister of National Defence is authorized to lend, on such terms and conditions as he may deem appropriate and in the interests of defence,(a)materiel, other than prototypes, sealed samples, models and catering contractor’s equipment, to the Department of Supply and Services for the use of its contractors; and(b)prototypes, sealed samples, models and catering contractor’s equipment directly to contractors of the Department of Supply and Services engaged in work for national defence.
