Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, is pleased hereby(a)pursuant to paragraph (b) of the definition of department in section 2 of the Financial Administration Act, to designate the Civil Aviation Tribunal as a department for the purposes of that Act;(b)pursuant to paragraph (b) of the definition of appropriate Minister in section 2 of the Financial Administration Act, to designate the Minister of Transport as the appropriate Minister with respect to the Civil Aviation Tribunal for the purposes of that Act; and(c)pursuant to section 31* of the Aeronautics Act, to designate the Minister of Transport, a member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, as the Minister for the purposes of that section.*S.C. 1985, c. 28, s. 5
