His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, pursuant to paragraph 9(b) of the Territorial Lands Act, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Order waiving the reservation to the Crown with respect to certain territorial lands in the Northwest Territories.Short Title

1This Order may be cited as the Reservation to the Crown Waiver Order, 1983, No. 1.

Waiver

2The reservation to the Crown set out in paragraph 9(b) of the Territorial Lands Act is hereby waived with respect to a grant of the territorial lands described in the schedule.

SCHEDULE(Section 2)All that parcel of unsurveyed land adjoining the easterly boundary of Lot numbered 925, Group numbered 964, in the City of Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories, as said lot is shown on a plan of survey of record number 57843 in the Canada Lands Surveys Records at Ottawa, a copy of which is filed in the Land Titles Office for the Northwest Territories Land Registration District at Yellowknife under number 796; as said parcel is shown outlined in red on a sketch plan of record on file 18-1-61 in the Land Management Division of the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development at Ottawa, said parcel containing approximately 0.36 hectares (0.94 acres), more or less.
