Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister,
(a) under paragraph (b)Footnote a of the definition department in section 2 of the Financial Administration ActFootnote b, designates the commission that is named the Inquiry under the name of the Public Inquiry into Foreign Interference in Federal Electoral Processes and Democratic Institutions as a department for the purposes of that Act; and
